Areas of Practice

Real Estate Law

Purchase Contracts

Buying and selling commercial or residential property needs a well-written foundation.  The purchase contract is too often a form-filled document full of errors and missing protection for the seller or buyer.

Leases

A commercial landlord and tenant often execute leases that they have not even read.  Matters such as maintenance, signage, utilities, real estate taxes, etc. are often ignored until there is a dispute.

Establishing Limited Liability Companies and Corporations

Relying on forms can be a problem.  What are the responsibilities of the members and officers in the company?  What if someone dies?

Probate Law

Wills and Estates

Trouble and expense is avoided if you have a Will. Your estate can be wrapped upon more quickly with good planning.  Often, real estate is involved and my contacts with appraisers and auctioneers can help.
